A trendy space for 20-24 people to gather for a presentation, workshop, or small group gathering. Use of the atrium can be included for cocktail receptions or informal gatherings.
Rental of Grace Place Coffee can take place when the shop is closed from its typical hours. It is open to the public weekdays 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. and Sundays 7 a.m. - noon.
Service Options:
This modern, multi-purpose space is perfect for an intimate gathering of up to 40 people. Enjoy a seated meal, lecture or meeting. Includes use of the projector and screen, tables and chairs, a staging area with fridge, sink, and microwave, and a full-time events staff person.

Can we bring in our own food?
All food for events in the Grace Center must be provided by a licensed and insured caterer from the Grace Center's preferred caterers' list.
Can we use any caterer?
Caterers must be chosen from the Grace Center's list of preferred caterers. These caterers are recommended by the Grace Center due to their quality in food and service, as well as assisting with providing services that other caterers often charge for, such as decor and table set up, cutting the cake, and more.
Do you allow alcohol?
Yes, events are more than welcome to serve alcoholic beverages for their guests. We have rental packages that can accommodate both alcoholic and non-alcoholic bar service.
Can we bring in our own alcohol?
All alcohol must be provided through DJ Enterprises per the City of Milwaukee code.
Do you allow dancing?
Yes, a dance floor is included in the rental costs.
DJs and bands are also welcome in the Grace Center.
What are the hours available for rental?
Regardless of start time, rental hours are as follows:
Music and beverage service must end at 11:30 p.m.
Guests need to leave the space by midnight.
Vendors (DJ, caterers, etc.) and clean up need to be done by 12:30 a.m.
Are we allowed to set up the day before?
At the time of your event walk through (about two weeks before your event) if the space has not been booked on the day before your event you are welcome to come and set up during our standard office hours when a staff person is on site.
Our standard office hours are 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Are balloons allowed?
Yes, with the exception of helium balloons, which are not allowed in the Great Hall due to the high vaulted ceilings. Balloon arches and other decor made with non-helium balloons are permitted. Helium balloons are allowed in the classroom or Grace Place Coffee shop where they are under a low ceiling and can be easily retrieved.
Are candles allowed?
Yes - real candles are allowed, as long as they are enclosed in glass or some form of a container. Candles with open flames (not contained) are not allowed.
Do you offer onsite parking?
There is a small surface parking lot located between the Grace Center and Grace Lutheran Church that is available for use during events. There is also an underground parking garage, with 10 spots available for use during event rentals.
What parking is available in the area?
Over 100 spots are available on the streets surrounding the Grace Center, along Broadway, Juneau, McKinley, Knapp, and Market. There are also neighboring public parking lots, where guests can park for a nominal fee or for free, depending on the day of the week.
Since our congregation's facilities are closely connected to our mission, the permission to use church facilities will not be given to persons or groups holding, advancing, or advocating beliefs or practices that conflict or are inconsistent with the faith or teachings of Grace Lutheran Church.
Business activities, social events, and general non-religious use by groups or individuals are allowed and encouraged in the Grace Center as an extension of Christian hospitality and service to our neighbors in the community.
The Grace pastors are available to serve the spiritual needs of those who desire to rent a Grace Center space for a event with a religious component.
