Can we bring in our own food?
All food for events in the Grace Center must be provided by a licensed and insured caterer from the Grace Center's preferred caterers' list.

Can we use any caterer?
Caterers must be chosen from the Grace Center's list of preferred caterers. These caterers are recommended by the Grace Center due to their quality in food and service, as well as assisting with providing services that other caterers often charge for, such as decor and table set up, cutting the cake, and more.

Do you allow alcohol?
Yes, events are more than welcome to serve alcoholic beverages for their guests. We have rental packages that can accommodate both alcoholic and non-alcoholic bar service.

Can we bring in our own alcohol?
All alcohol must be provided through DJ Enterprises per the City of Milwaukee code.

Do you allow dancing?
Yes, a dance floor is included in the rental costs.
DJs and bands are also welcome in the Grace Center.

What are the hours available for rental?
Regardless of start time, rental hours are as follows:

Guests need to leave the space by midnight.
Vendors (DJ, caterers, etc.) and clean up need to be done by 12:30 a.m.

Are we allowed to set up the day before?
At the time of your event walk through (about two weeks before your event) if the space has not been booked on the day before your event you are welcome to come and set up during our standard office hours when a staff person is on site.
Our standard office hours are 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Are balloons allowed?
Yes, with the exception of helium balloons, which are not allowed in the Great Hall due to the high vaulted ceilings. Balloon arches and other decor made with non-helium balloons are permitted. Helium balloons are allowed in the classroom or Grace Place Coffee shop where they are under a low ceiling and can be easily retrieved.

Are candles allowed?
Yes - real candles are allowed, as long as they are enclosed in glass or some form of a container. Candles with open flames (not contained) are not allowed.

Business activities, social events, and general non-religious use by groups or individuals are allowed and encouraged in the Grace Center as an extension of Christian hospitality and service to our neighbors in the community.

The Grace pastors are available to serve the spiritual needs of those who desire to rent a Grace Center space for a event with a religious component.
