The 2023 End of Summer Broadway Bash (Block Party) is set for Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023, 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Join us on Broadway right in front of Grace. We are looking forward to celebrating our community and creating an atmosphere where the people of our neighborhood can have fun getting to know each other.

Grab a bite, take a sip, enjoy live music all day and join your neighbors in a fun yard game. You won't want to miss this annual event, rain or shine! Entry is FREE!

Q: When is the Block Party?
A: The Grace Block Party is set for Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023, from 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m., rain or shine. The party will get started after the last Sunday morning church service (which, you are also welcome to attend, if you wish)!

Q: Where is the party located?
A: Grace Lutheran Church is located on the corner of Broadway and Juneau Ave. in downtown Milwaukee. Broadway will be the street "blocked" off for the party.

Q: What does it cost to attend?
A: Nothing! We wanted to bring our neighbors a fun, family-friendly and free event!
That said, there will be food trucks and a beer truck, with items available for purchase. All proceeds go towards the vendors and/or covering the cost of the event. Free ice cream sandwiches and popsicles while supplies last.

Q: What food will be available?
A: We will have two food trucks available:
Iron Pig, offering pork, brisket and chicken items.

Ventura's Taco Truck, offering tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and more.

There will also be plenty of beverages to try, including Lakefront Brewery Riverwest Stein, Bierzet, IPA, and some hard seltzers. There will also be bottled water and soda available for purchase.

And New this year, a wine tasting and cheese pairing station, led by member Anthony Crowder, with cheese from Harmony Cheese.

Q: Will there be live music?
A: Yes, there is live music! See the day's schedule of events below.

Q: What kind of games will be available?
A: Corn hole, giant Jenga, ladder golf--just to name a few.
