Current Grace in the Ward Series: The Savior Came for Me—It’s pretty amazing, isn’t it?! God sent Jesus, his Son, into the world to walk this earth, to experience life, and to rescue the human race by his life, death, and resurrection. But even more than that, God sent the Savior to do those things for you. Join Grace in the Ward in celebrating God’s mercy and faithfulness as we look at the Savior who came for you. Sundays at 10:30 a.m., at the Broadway Theatre Center (158 N. Broadway, Milwaukee).

Wonder of Wonders: New Sunday Morning Bible Class—Joy and excitement fill our hearts during the Epiphany season of the church year as the Gospel accounts proclaim the wonders of Jesus’ authority in words and works, shining out to the world. What a perfect time to dive into and discuss the impact of his miracles in our life! Join Grace pastors and your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ for this new Sunday morning Bible class series, starting Jan. 30, 2022. Sunday morning Bible class is offered at 9:15 and 10 a.m. Fresh coffee, juice and treats are provided, along with time for fellowship! Sunday morning Bible class is also made available online through the Grace YouTube page, and study guides for participation can be found at gracedowntown.org/docs. Sunday School—Sunday school has resumed! Set for Sundays at 9 a.m. in the lower level of the Parish Center, the group is currently exploring the life of Jesus. Open Forum—An open forum is scheduled for next Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022, at 9 and 10:15 a.m., in the Grace Center’s Great Hall (in lieu of Sunday morning Bible class). The church council will propose amendments to the church bylaws and updates to the financial policies document. Other items include a review of 2021 goals and financials, the introduction of 2022 goals, adoption of the 2022 Ministry Plan (budget), and election of new councilmen. Grace Place Coffee Closed Today—Grace Place Coffee, Grace’s on-site coffee shop, is closed today, Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022. Doors open for Sunday morning Bible class at 8:30 a.m., and will close at 10:45 a.m.

Offering Envelopes for 2022— Grace members’ 2022 offering envelopes are available in the Parish Center. If you do not find your packet there, please print your name on the sign-up sheet next to the envelopes. Those enrolled in electronic giving are generally not assigned envelopes. Gracemade Crafting UpdateWhile Gracemade, Grace Church’s crafting group, is not currently hosting in-person meeting sessions at church, they are still donating finished items that are turned in to the donation bin in the Parish Center. Future donation plans include cowl scarves for a men’s’ shelter, so if you are looking for some winter crafting ideas, consider making cowl scarves! Prime Time Bible Study—Prime Time Bible study, which takes place on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. in the Grace Center classroom, is continuing their study called "What Does God Tell Us About Angels?" Songs, Stories, and Studies 2022 DatesAre you a stay-at-home parent or caregiving grandparent who is seeking out-of-the-house activities for you and your child? Consider attending Songs, Stories, and Studies, 9:30 a.m. on Fridays here at Grace! Meeting in front of the nursery, kiddos get to enjoy a half-hour of songs and stories, followed by free play in the nursery while adults participate in a Bible study with a Grace pastor. First Fridays Presents the New Milwaukee Consort—Warm your spirits with the New Milwaukee Consort on Friday, Feb. 4, 2022, here in the sanctuary! This concert, comprising soprano, lute, viola da gamba, Baroque cello and Baroque guitar, will feature a program of fiery dances and passionate songs from the French and Italian. Concert is free to attend (donations appreciated), and will last approximately an hour. WLHS Fashion Show—Everyone is invited to the WLHS “In the Image” Fashion Show on Sunday, Jan. 23, in the atrium from 2-4 p.m. (330 Glenview Ave., Milwaukee). The event is a celebration for women of all ages and will be emceed by alum Dr. Joan Prince ('71). At this fashion show, the Sharon A. Schoeneck ('79) In the Image Scholarship will be awarded to a WLHS junior year female student. Cost is $10 for front row seats or $5 for general admission. Visit wlhs.org/image. Seating is limited.

Wine Tasting Night Out—Christian Life Resources invites you to its 7th Annual Wine Tasting Night Out on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022, starting at 6 p.m. in the Chandelier Ballroom (150 Jefferson Ave., Hartford).
