Worship and Bible Class

Holy Week Worship at Grace—Holy Week is upon us, starting today with The Sunday of the Passion. A full list of upcoming Holy Week services can be found at the very end of your worship folder today. We hope you will take the time to join your Grace family as we reflect on Christ’s path to the cross and his last moments before giving up his life in the ultimate sacrifice.

Victorious! Easter at Grace—Celebrate Christ’s victory over death with Grace! There are five services to choose from: 6:30 a.m. (Easter Dawn), 7:45, 9, and 10:30 a.m. (Easter Festival) on Easter Sunday, Apr. 17, 2022, and 6:30 p.m. (Easter Monday) on Monday, Apr. 18, 2022. The alleluias return, alongside joyous choir anthems and instrumentalists. Easter breakfast also returns, 7:30-11 a.m., in the Grace Center’s Great Hall. All are invited (and encouraged) to join for both worship and fellowship!

Christian Freedom: Sunday Morning Bible Class—When we have freedom, we seem to have everything. When we don’t, life becomes very difficult. Explore one of God’s greatest gifts to you with Christian Freedom—the last class, with the focus “Freedom Enjoyed,” is today at 9 and 10:15 a.m. in the Grace Center Great Hall. Enjoy fresh coffee, juice, treats and catching up with your Grace friends, all while diving into the Word!

Living by Faith Alone: Next Sunday Morning Bible Class—Life isn’t easy—in fact, sometimes it’s just plain hard. There are problems and challenges all around us and even in us. No matter how hard we try, we are left feeling empty and without purpose. But the good news of free and full forgiveness offers a different way of life. Starting Sunday, Apr. 24, join Grace Church for this new Sunday morning Bible class. Explore the core teaching of the Christian faith found in the book of Galatians—justification by faith—and see how you can live by faith alone.

Easter Breakfast at Grace—Easter Breakfast finally returns to Grace on Easter Sunday! Head to the Grace Center’s Great Hall on Sunday, Apr. 17, 2022 between 7:30 and 11 a.m. and enjoy a delicious spread of delectable breakfast foods. And new this year—an Easter-themed photo booth! Take an updated family photo with everyone in their Easter best in front of a floral and greenery background. (And don’t forget to use the hashtag, #easteratgracedowntown, so you can share your photos with the church!) Want to bring something to pass at the breakfast, or help serve the meal? Sign-up sheets are available in the Parish Center, or online under the Connect tab. Again—all are welcome and encouraged to join the fun at Easter Breakfast!
