Divine Call Extended—Grace extended a call last Sunday to Rev. Daniel Lange, who is currently serving Light of Life Lutheran Church in Covington, WA, to serve at Grace as an associate pastor and to fill the vacancy left by Pastor Bondow. Please keep Pastor Lange and his family, as well as Grace, in your prayers as he deliberates his calls.

Rejoice Always: A Study of Philippians—This past year was hard, and—between the pandemics, natural disasters, tanking economies, elections, social unrest—one can’t help but wonder: “Is there any joy left?” Discover how we can find the joy no matter what with Rejoice Always: A Study of Philippians. Join Dr. Phil Huebner for this special four-part study, now through May 23, at 9 and 10:15 a.m. Sunday mornings, either in-person or online.

Website Survey—In the past year, Grace has increased their use of technology and has expanded their digital ministry efforts. Help Grace better understand the ongoing needs of Grace Church, specifically in the realm of the Grace website, by filling out a brief survey! Survey can be found under the Connect tab on the Grace website and will be live until Sunday, May 30. Everyone with an internet connection is invited—and encouraged—to fill out the survey! Questions, please feel free to email Amanda Schumacher, Communications Coordinator, at aschumacher@gracedowntown.org.

Mom’s Group 2021 Dates—Moms are invited to join Mom’s Group for fun and fellowship—and now, in-person! In-person meetings are Fridays at 9 a.m. (unless stated otherwise). Grace pastors will once again lead a study focusing on the Scripture lessons for the upcoming Sunday, and face masks will be worn by those in attendance (ages 5 and up, same as for worship).  The remaining dates for the rest of the school year are as follows: May 14, 21.

Prime Timers Returns in June—It’s back! Prime Timers Bible Study is returning Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. in the Grace Center Classroom, starting June 2. Grace Annual Church Camp Out—It’s back! The Grace Church Campout is set for July 22-25 at the Long Lake Campground in Kettle Moraine State Forest Northern Unit. The state parks have some changes they are enforcing, which can be found at dnr.wi.gov. There will be a group cookout for dinner Friday, July 23 at the Long Lake Picnic Pavilion. If you would like to reserve your campsite, you can do so at wisconsin.goingtocamp.com or over the phone at 1-888-947-2757. If you have any questions you can contact Chris Midthun at Chrismidthun@wi.rr.com. If you have already made reservations (or when you do), please send an email to Drew Carter at dcarter@gracedowntown.org to let him know you plan on camping and how many people are in your group.
