Holy Week & Easter Sign-Ups: Now Live! Sign-ups for in-person Holy Week and Easter worship are now live, with multiple service times available, go to gracedowntown.org/signup. Services will be provided via live stream as well.

Wedding at Grace—Grace member Samantha Egelseer and Paul Brockdorf were united in marriage here at Grace on Tuesday, Mar. 23. May God bless this couple in their new life together.

Picture the Passion: A Study of the Book of Zechariah—What is the turning point in the entire history of the world, so huge an event that it impacts you every moment of every day—giving peace when the world offers little peace, giving hope when you feel hopeless, giving strength when you are weak, giving joy when sadness surrounds? Answer: The Passion of our Lord Jesus. What a thrill to study the pictures of the prophet Zechariah which point to the reality that makes all the difference in our life! Grace in Action: Food Drive—Grace in Action is running a month-long food drive. All items gathered will help Northside Lutheran Ministries, an inner city charity outreach program. (Check out the spring newsletter to learn more about Northside and people who serve in ministry there!) Collection bins are located in the Parish Center as well as in the Grace Center. All nonperishable foods are welcome—with specific requests for canned meats, pasta, pancake mix, syrup, and jelly. Moms Group 2021 Dates—Continuing with virtual Zoom meetings for now, moms are invited to join in as the group works through a Bible Study based on a Risen Motherhood, a popular podcast. Meetings are on Fridays at 9 a.m. (unless stated otherwise). The remaining dates for the rest of the school year are as follows: April 16, 23, 30; May 7, 14, 21.

I’m So Board: Board Painting Event—Grace is hosting “I’m So Board!” sign painting event on Friday, Apr. 16, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. in the Grace Center. Get your craft on by choosing one of several, fun designs ahead of time, then join for step-by-step instructions that will help bring these designs to life! Cost is $12 per sign (feel free to sign up for multiple projects!)—cost includes pre-stained and sanded 12”x12” pine board, design stencil, and painting supplies. Refreshments will also be available to purchase. Pre-registration is required for this event, to ensure ample supplies are prepared (please note: registration is not considered accepted until payment has been received). WLHS Job Opening—Wisconsin Lutheran High School (WLHS) is looking for part-time staff to supervise and provide care for a globally diverse group of teenagers in our student residential facility at Honey Creek Hall. Resident and non-resident positions are available, for individuals or married couples, at any stage of professional or post-professional life. Duties include working evening and weekend shifts 2-3 days each week. Experience working in an educational or residential setting with international students is preferred, and candidates must be members in good standing of the WELS or ELS. Koine Concerts—Enjoy two live, in-person concerts by Koine! “Footsteps to the Cross Illuminated,” a musical passion play of hymns, scriptural narration and dazzling media, is set for today, Mar. 28 at 3 and 5 p.m. “Tenebrae Illuminated,” a special concert adaptation of the traditional Tenebrae service, is set for Good Friday, Apr. 2, at 5 and 7 p.m. Both concerts will take place at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School (3399 Division Rd., Jackson, WI). Concerts are free, however due to social distancing guidelines, tickets must be reserved in advance. In the event you are unable to attend, please release tickets so others can attend. 25th Annual WLHS Dinner Auction—WLHS is excited to offer both in-person and virtual admission to the 25th Annual Dinner Auction on Saturday, Apr. 17, at 6 p.m. This year's event, "Empowered by Faith," will feature an online silent and live auction, whiskey and wine pulls, and student performances. Virtual registration includes a Grubhub e-gift card and free access to the event online. The in-person event will follow City of Milwaukee safety protocols. Men of His Word: Viewing Party at Grace—Grace men are invited to a viewing party of this year's Men of His Word: Virtual Conference on Saturday, Apr. 17, 2021, 8:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. at the Grace Center! This conference is to replace the in-person one that was canceled due to COVID. As many of us feel disconnected, now more than ever is the time to reconnect with brothers in Christ! Attendance is limited, face coverings required, snacks and drinks will be provided. The cost is $15 (payable the day of).
