Grace Bible Study Days Returns! Grace Bible Study Days returns Aug. 3-5, 2021! Each evening begins with a meal at 6 p.m., followed by a brief devotion. Adults then have their choice of three Bible studies to attend, each taught by one of the Grace pastors. There is also a program for the children, featuring a Bible lesson and crafts, led by Minister of Discipleship Drew Carter. The evening ends with everyone coming back together for dessert and a group sing-a-long. Sign-up is available on the Grace website, under the Connect tab. First Fridays Presents Three Tenors Milwaukee—First Fridays returns with a special Saturday night concert! On Saturday, Aug. 7 at 6 p.m. here in the sanctuary, come enjoy a free concert featuring the Three Tenors Milwaukee! This trio, comprising local musical talents Tommy Hahn and Tim Rebers and Broadway star Andrew Varela, will perform a selection of favorite Broadway and operatic works! Concert is free to attend (donations appreciated) and open to the public. Grace Church Picnic 2021—The Grace Church Picnic is returning this summer! The picnic will be held at Grace on Sunday, Aug. 8, following the 10:30 a.m. service. Lunch will be served at noon in the Great Hall. Food will be provided completely by Grace, and will include brats, burgers, and other traditional picnic sides. If you plan to attend, please bring your own drinks for you and your family, as well as any yard games you might want to set up in the parking lot to enjoy with others! There will be games and activities planned by Grace in the parking lot as well. While the church picnic might look different than in years past, we are excited to be in a place where fellowship events can be held again and hope you will join us! WLHS Upcoming Events: Jr. Vikings Baseball Tryouts—Do you have a baseball player that is looking to take his skills to the next level and make lasting Christian friendships? Wisconsin Lutheran High School is looking for experienced, competitive boys 8-14 years of age for Jr. Vikings baseball. Tryouts for the U8-U11 teams will be held on Saturday, July 24 at St. Paul's in Muskego. Tryouts for the U12-U14 teams will be held on Wednesday, July 28 at McCarty Park in West Allis. Jr. Viking Basketball Tryouts with WLHS—Be a part of the Jr. Vikings basketball program! Registration to tryout is open to both boys (grades 3-8) and girls (grades 4-8). Increase basketball fundamental skills, compete at a higher level, develop relationships with future classmates in a Christ-centered team atmosphere.
