Midweek Lent at Grace—Midweek Lenten services return at Grace on Wednesdays, now through Mar. 24, 2021 with two times: 12:10-12:40 p.m. (perfect for attending worship over the lunch hour for those who work downtown) and 6:30 p.m. (which will also be live streamed via YouTube). A maximum occupancy of 120 is allotted per service, and face masks are required for ages 5 and older. To sign-up for a worship service in advance, visit rsvp.church/r/rZhGY5g. Sign-ups will go live at the same time as sign-ups for Sunday morning worship (Thursday mornings, during Lent). This year’s theme for Lent is “Father, Forgive!”

Save the Date for Special Event and Service Sign-Ups—Mark your calendars! Sign-ups for in-person Holy Week and Easter worship will be going live on Monday, Mar. 15, 2021 at noon. Holy Week and Easter services will offer in-person worship as well as virtually. Watch your inbox for details in the coming weeks!

Seminary Chorus Sacred Concert—The Seminary Chorus returns for their annual sacred concert at Grace on Wednesday, Mar. 24, 2021 at 7 p.m., in place of the 6:30 p.m. midweek Lent service. Face masks will be required of all attendees ages 5 and up and space is limited; sign-ups in advance required. Sign-ups for the concert will go live Friday, Mar. 5, 2021 at 3 p.m.

Picture the Passion: A Study of the Book of Zechariah—What is the turning point in the entire history of the world, so huge an event that it impacts you every moment of every day—giving peace when the world offers little peace, giving hope when you feel hopeless, giving strength when you are weak, giving joy when sadness surrounds? Answer: The Passion of our Lord Jesus. What a thrill to study the pictures of the prophet Zechariah which point to the reality that makes all the difference in our life! Join the study on Sundays at 9 or 10:15 a.m., Feb. 14- Mar. 28, 2021. Each Sunday’s focus is listed below:

Feb 28    Visions about the coming King: Part Two (Zechariah 3:1-4:14)
Mar 7      Visions about the coming King: Part Three (Zechariah 5:1-6:15)
Mar 14   Justice, mercy, and blessings—for you! (Zechariah 7:1-8:23)
Mar 21   The King battles enemies—for you! (Zechariah 9:1-11:17)

Call Meeting Scheduled—The next call meeting is scheduled for Sunday, Mar. 14, 2021, after the 10:30 a.m. service. Grace is calling an associate pastor to fill the vacancy left by Pastor Bondow.

First Fridays Presents: Guitarist Brad Conroy—First Fridays has safely returned, offering concerts virtually! The next concert features guitarist Brad Conroy in the Grace sanctuary. The concert is set for Friday, Mar. 5, 2021, at 5 p.m., and will be live streamed via YouTube. Moms Group 2021 Dates—Continuing with virtual Zoom meetings for now, moms are invited to join in as the group works through a Bible Study based on a Risen Motherhood, a popular podcast. Meetings are on Fridays at 9 a.m. (unless stated otherwise). The remaining dates for the rest of the school year are as follows: March 12, 26; April 16, 23, 30; May 7, 14, 21.

Job Opening at Grace—Grace is seeking a candidate to fill a part-time custodian position in the Grace Center. Responsibilities include cleaning work and event spaces as well as assisting with special event set up and take down.
