Midweek Lent at Grace—Starting with Ash Wednesday this week on Feb. 17, 2021, midweek Lenten services return at Grace on Wednesdays, Feb. 24-Mar. 24, 2021 at two times: 12:10-12:40 p.m. (perfect for attending worship over the lunch hour for those who work downtown) and 6:30 p.m. (which will also be live streamed via YouTube). A maximum occupancy of 125 is allotted per service, and face masks are required for ages 5 and older. To sign-up for a worship service in advance, visit rsvp.church/r/rZhGY5g. Sign-ups will go live at the same time as sign-ups for Sunday morning worship.

Divine Call Extended—In January, Grace extended a divine call to Pastor Aaron Boehm, currently serving as pastor at Shepherd of the Hills in La Mesa, CA, to fill the vacancy left by Pastor Bondow. Please keep him and his family, along with Grace, in your prayers as he deliberates both of his calls.
Offering Envelopes for 2021—Communicant Grace members who attend in-person worship services,
if you have not signed up for electronic offerings, please pick up your packet of 2021 envelopes from the counter in the Parish Center. If you are not currently attending in-person services, please contact Carolyn in the church office (414-271-3006, firstname.lastname@example.org) and arrange a time to pick them up at the office or to have them delivered. Flower Chart for 2021—Do you have an anniversary, birthday, or other special occasion you’d like to commemorate? Consider giving altar flowers at Grace to celebrate! Grace Apparel Orders: Close Tomorrow! Show off our church and wear Grace proudly around Milwaukee. These stylish polo shirts, pullovers, baseball caps and knit caps that showcase the Grace logo could be a great conversation starter and way to witness your faith! Orders can be submitted until tomorrow, February 15, 2021. Order forms are available in the Parish Center on the counter, as well as online at gracedowntown.org/connect/graceapparelstore. Payments can be made via cash or check (checks should be made out to Grace Lutheran Church). Moms Group 2021 Dates—Moms Group is back for 2021! Continuing with virtual Zoom meetings for now, moms are invited to join in as the group works through a Bible Study based on a Risen Motherhood, a popular podcast. Meetings are on Fridays at 9 a.m. (unless stated otherwise). Below are the dates for the rest of the school year:

Choral Celebration Concert: Next Sunday—Enjoy the heavenly sounds of the St. Olaf Choir, King’s College Choir, Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra and Chorus, One Thousand-Voice Welsh Male Chorus, Kansas City Chorale and more as the “best choruses singing the best choruses” are presented here at Grace next Sunday, Feb. 21 at 3 p.m. You are cordially invited to experience this unique and rewarding Choral Celebration, which will feature top selections from these choral groups excellent recordings, and will include familiar favorites, timeless classics, and rare choral gems. Due to COVID restrictions, up to 125 guests are able to attend the concert, with face coverings for ages 5 and older required. Responsibilities include cleaning work and event spaces as well as assisting with special event set up and take down.
