Worship and Bible Class
Midweek Advent at Grace—The remaining midweek Advent services are set for Wednesdays, Dec. 8 and 15, 2021, from 12:10-12:40 p.m. (a shortened version of the evening service—perfect for attending over your lunch break if you work downtown) and in the evening at 6:30 p.m., with a meal served by a Grace group beforehand. The meals are taco bar (Dec. 8; served by RootedMKE); and chili (Dec. 15; served by Songs, Stories, & Studies group). Questions, contact the church office at 414-271-3006 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Grace in the Ward Current Series: She Shouldn’t Be Here—They weren’t pure, perfect, or holy, and for a lot of reasons, these women didn’t belong. Yet, God chose them and used them for magnificent purposes, namely, to be ancestors of the promised Savior. Join us this Advent season as we prepare our hearts for celebrating the Savior’s birth by looking at the lives of Old Testament women—Sarah, Rahab, and Ruth—to see that while, like them, we don’t belong, God graciously gives us a place by the manger. Join Grace in the Ward Sundays at 10:30 a.m., now through Dec. 12, at the Broadway Theatre Center (158 N. Broadway, Milwaukee).
Sunday Morning Bible Class: Here We Stand: The Legacy of Worms, 500 Years Later is based on the short film of the same name. Revisit Martin Luther’s stand at the Diet of Worms and how it relates to the foundational truths Lutherans treasure today. Sunday morning Bible class is offered at 9 and 10:15 a.m., where attendees enjoy fresh coffee, juice, and treats, spending time in the Word, and interactive fellowship before and after each session (which runs approximately 45 minutes). Questions, contact Pastor Brian Hackmann at email@example.com.
Sunday Morning Bible Class Survey—The pastors of Grace Church are looking for your help in improving the quality of our Sunday morning Bible class! No matter if you attend every week or have never come to Sunday morning Bible class, we’d like to hear from you. Please take a few minutes to fill out an anonymous survey and share your feedback. Surveys can be found via the QR code in the front of your worship folder, or under the Connect tab on the Grace website. Printed surveys can also be found in the Parish Center. The pastors are also open and eager to hear your thoughts about Bible class in other ways. Thank you for your time and input to help make this important aspect of our ministry as beneficial as possible!
