Worship and Bible Class

Midweek Advent—The last midweek Advent services are set for this Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021 from 12:10-12:40 p.m. (a shortened version of the evening service—perfect for attending over your lunch break if you work downtown) and in the evening at 6:30 p.m., with a meal served by a Grace group beforehand (chili; served by the Songs, Stories, & Studies group). Questions, contact the church office at 414-271-3006 or data@gracedowntown.org.

Lessons and Carols Next Sunday—Join Grace Church next Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021, for A Service of Lessons & Carols! Featuring the choir, organ, and various instruments, this beloved Grace tradition is a musical celebration of Advent and Christmas carols that put to music our joyful anticipation for the humble and glorious coming of the Savior.

Christmas in the Ward Next Sunday—Start your Christmas week worship celebrations off right with Grace in the Ward! Join the Ward next Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in the Broadway Theatre Center (158 N. Broadway, Milwaukee) and celebrate the birth of our Savior with encouraging Scripture readings and the singing of beloved Christmas carols and hymns.

Sunday Morning Bible Class Survey—The pastors of Grace Church are looking for your help in improving the quality of our Sunday morning Bible class! No matter if you attend every week or have never come to Sunday morning Bible class, Grace Church would like to hear from you. Please take a few minutes to fill out an anonymous survey and share your feedback. Surveys can be found via the QR code in the front of your worship folder, or under the Connect tab on the Grace website. The pastors are also open and eager to hear your thoughts about Bible class in other ways. Thank you for your time and input to help make this important aspect of our ministry as beneficial as possible!

Grace Ministry Evaluation—Grace Church leaders have put a temporary pause on calling for a Discipleship Pastor to evaluate our current ministry and how to best serve both our members and extended community. Due to the challenges we are facing as a result of the pandemic, part of this evaluation is a look at whether to continue with our second-site ministry, Grace in the Ward. Your prayers are appreciated on these issues, and any feedback can be directed to congregation president, Jeff Hatzung, or the Grace pastors.
