Lent Begins—This year’s Lenten theme is “What Wondrous Love Is This?” Details on weekly service themes are listed below:
Mar. 4: In the Upper Room
Mar. 11: In Gethsemane
Mar. 18: Before the Sanhedrin
Mar. 25: Before Pilate

Services are Wednesdays at 12:10 p.m. (a shorter service, a great alternative for those who work downtown) and at 6:30 p.m. (with a meal served beforehand). The seminary chorus will once again share a sacred concert with Grace on Apr. 1, at 7 p.m., in lieu of the traditional evening service. Please join us as we reflect on Christ’s journey to the cross.
Lenten Suppers—Take a break from the kitchen, and instead join your brothers and sisters in Christ for food and fellowship with midweek Lenten suppers! Meals are served prior to each evening worship service, 5:30-6:15 p.m. in the Grace Center Great Hall, and 6-6:45 p.m. on Apr. 1.
This year’s Lenten supper menu is as follows:
Mar. 4 Baked Potato & Salad Bar
Mar. 11 Chili & Cornbread or Biscuits
Mar. 18 Spaghetti & Garlic Bread & Salad
Mar. 25 Taco & Nacho Bar
Apr. 1 Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Beans & Coleslaw
A donation of $3 per child and $5 per adult is suggested, to help offset the cost of the meals. RSVP in advance by clicking HERE, or call the church office at 414-271-3006. Please RSVP in advance so our events team knows how much food to prepare! Can you help serve at a Lenten meal? Contact the events office at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 414-271-3006 to help prep, serve, or clean-up the meals.
