Bible Study Book Sale—Starting in October, Grace will offer a Bible study featuring portions of Prepared to Answer, while the Most Certainly True podcast will have listeners working through Grace Abounds. Grace members have the opportunity to purchase the books ($30 for Grace Abounds, $15 for Prepared to Answer, $35 for both), on sale now.

Advent By Candlelight—Advent by Candlelight (ABC) will be held in the Grace Center on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, 3-5:15 p.m. This special event allows women to focus their hearts on Christ during the busy Advent season while sharing in fellowship with each other.

Volunteer Hostesses are needed: Hostesses decorate their tables, and provide a friendly atmosphere for their guests. Hostesses have the opportunity to co-host with a friend, invite their own guests or use this as a chance to make new friends! Sign up to host a table before Sunday, Nov. 3. Sign up sheets will be in the Grace Center and in the Parish Center, or individuals interested in hosting can call the church office 414-271-3006 or email ABC Coordinator, Sarah Egelseer, at Questions, call Sarah at 930-285-8775.

Grace Adopt-A-Student—
Grace needs you for a new program designed to encourage the faith of Grace college-attending members! Adopt a Grace student who is attending college and connect with them by writing a letter of encouragement twice a semester. Additional notes, care packages, and other ways to encourage and support students are welcome. Sign up for a student in the Parish Center to receive more information.

Gracemade’s October Crafting Session—Mark your calendars for Saturday, Oct. 12, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Parish Center Heritage Room—this is the fall crafting session for Gracemade! Come for the whole day, a half day, or any time you are available! Project focus for the fall session is pajama pants and blankets.

LWMS Fall Rally—Grace has the honor of hosting the Lutheran Women’s Missionary Society (LWMS) Metro Milwaukee North Circuit Fall Rally this year on Saturday, Oct. 19, 8 a.m.-noon in the Grace Center. The rally features Rev. Ryan Kolander, pastor of home mission Palabra de Vida (Word of Life) Lutheran Church in Detroit, MI, as the guest speaker. Save the date for this event!

Baby Shower for Baby Hackmann—Women of Grace is hosting a baby shower for the Hackmanns on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019, noon until 2:30 p.m. in the Grace Center classroom. The Hackmanns are registered at Target, and in lieu of diapers (since babies change size so fast!) gift cards would be greatly appreciated.

Annual Grace Camp-Out—he reservation window is already open for next summer’s annual camp out at Long Lake Campground in the northern unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest, just northeast of Kewauskum (about an hour drive from the zoo). This is not a group camp so everyone needs to make reservations for their own camp sites. This can be done at or by calling 1-888-947-2757. Reserve for any evenings July 23-25, 2020 with departure on Sunday, July 26—whatever fits your schedule and tolerance level! Ask for a site in the upper 900s loop (sites 922-967). Some now are already non-reservable, so if you can’t get one in the upper, go for the lower 900s nearby. Details on joint devotions, church service, etc. will be sent to you in July. Grace in Action November Event—Join Grace in Action in creating and filling food stock boxes for senior citizens with Hunger Task Force on Saturday, Nov. 9, 1-4 p.m, at 300 E. College Ave., in the MKE Regional Business Park (just south of the airport). Kids ages 12-15 are welcome with an adult chaperone, youth ages 16+ can volunteer independently.
