Poinsettias Available to Order—It is time to order poinsettias to beautify the chancel for Christmas. Please use one of the envelopes provided on the Parish Center counter and deposit it in the box. The costs are $17 (single, 5-7 blooms) or $26 (double, 10-14 blooms); you may choose red or white. Orders for white poinsettias need to be in by Thanksgiving, orders for red poinsettias need to be in no later than Friday, Dec. 6. Poinsettias purchased can be taken home after morning worship on Christmas Day. Please make checks payable to Grace.
Angel Tree Reminder—Bring unwrapped gifts back no later than Monday, Dec. 2. Gifts can be dropped off at the church office during the week, or given to the building host in the Grace Center on Sunday mornings. First Fridays Christmas Concert—Tim Rebers, tenor and Maggie Rebers, piano, present “Mystery and Celebration,” a concert of Christmas music on Friday, Dec. 6, at 5 p.m. in the sanctuary. Featuring favorite jazz standards and beautiful new arrangements of sacred carols, the concert is open to the public and all ages are welcome to attend! Concert is free; donations gratefully accepted. Concerts last about an hour, with light refreshments served afterwards in the narthex.

Family Christmas Service Rehearsals—A beloved tradition at Grace, the Family Christmas Eve Service brings children of our Sunday School, high school students, and adults of all ages together to present the message of God’s love through Scripture readings and music. All Grace members are welcome to sing in the choir for this service. Rehearsals are held in the church’s lower level at the following times:

Advent By Candlelight—Advent by Candlelight (ABC) is set for Saturday, Dec. 7, 3-5:15 p.m., in the Grace Center Great Hall. This event allows women to focus their hearts on Christ during the busy Advent season while enjoying fellowship with each other. Want to attend? PrimeTimers Christmas Party—The annual PrimeTimers Christmas Party is set for Saturday Dec. 21, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Grace Center classroom. There will be a catered Christmas meal and music played by our own Paul Sherwood on the piano. This meal is a lovely chance for some fellowship, while getting into the Christmas spirit! Winter Blood Drive—Grace is partnering with Versiti and the Blood Center of Wisconsin and hosting a winter-time blood drive on Sunday, Dec. 22, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the Grace Center classroom. Blood supplies have been low and are in dire need, so if you are able to give, please consider making a donation. Grace’s goal this time around is to get 20 units! Job Openings at Grace—Grace is seeking candidates to fill two (2) part-time custodian positions in the Grace Center. Responsibilities include cleaning work and event spaces as well as assisting with special event set up and take down. Positions are for 10 hours a week; candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Homebound for the Holidays—While we celebrate Christ’s coming with family and friends, let’s remember those who are homebound and wish they could worship along with us.
