Advent By Candlelight—Advent by Candlelight (ABC) is set for Saturday, Dec. 7, 3-5:15 p.m., in the Grace Center Great Hall. This event allows women to focus their hearts on Christ during the busy Advent season while sharing in fellowship with each other. Interested in attending? Poinsettias Available to Order—It is time to order poinsettias to beautify the chancel for Christmas. Please use one of the envelopes pro­vided on the Parish Center counter and deposit it in the box. The costs are $17 (single, 5-7 blooms) or $26 (double, 10-14 blooms); you may choose red or white. Orders for white poinsettias need to be in by Thanksgiving, orders for red poinsettias need to be in no later than Friday, Dec. 6. Poinsettias purchased can be taken home after morning worship on Christmas Day. Please make checks payable to Grace.

Angel Tree—Grace’s annual Christmas tradition, the Angel Tree, is back! After worship, head to the Parish Center and choose one of the remaining tags hanging on the tree. Each tag represents a child in foster care and their Christmas gift wish list. These children may not receive any other gifts this year, so please consider choosing a child (or two!). Please add your name to the sign-up sheets on the nearby table, and bring unwrapped gifts no later than Monday, Dec. 2. First Fridays Christmas Concert—Join Grace members tenor Tim Rebers and pianist Maggie Rebers and contemplate the mystery of the first Christmas while celebrating modern day traditions in a First Fridays concert on Friday, Dec. 6, at 5 p.m. in the sanctuary. This concert includes meditative sacred arrangements and festive secular favorites. Concert is free and open to the public; donations gratefully accepted. Concerts last approximately an hour, with a light reception to follow in the narthex.

Winter Blood Drive—Grace is partnering with Versiti and the Blood Center of Wisconsin and hosting a winter-time blood drive on Sunday, Dec. 22, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the Grace Center classroom. Tech Volunteers Needed—Grace is actively recruiting tech volunteers to fulfill several audio, visual, and general technology tasks that take place on a weekly basis. You don’t need to be a tech guru to be able to help—if you can follow a few simple directions and know how to operate a mouse, you can help! Grace is specifically looking for help uploading videos of sermons and Bible classes to YouTube and the Grace website, assistance with set up, take down, and transport of audio/visual equipment, and general assistance with the Most Certainly True podcast. Job Openings at Grace—Grace is seeking candidates to fill two (2) part-time custodian positions in the Grace Center. Responsibilities include cleaning work and event spaces as well as assisting with special event set up and take down. Positions are for 10 hours a week; candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
