Call Meeting—A divine call has been extended to Rev. Jonathan E. Schroeder, who is currently serving Faith Lutheran in Sharpsburg, GA. Please keep both Pastor Schroeder and his family, as well as Grace, in your prayers as he deliberates his calls.

Annual Open Forums Recap—Grace’s annual open forums took place last Sunday, Nov. 3, in the lower level of the church. Over 120 Grace members gathered together during the two sessions, breaking out into small groups to conduct SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analyses. Watch the December newsletter for a more detailed recap of what was discussed. Questions, either in regards to the open fora or in general, can be directed to Josh Schermerhorn, council president:

Grace Fine Art & Craft Festival Thank You—Thank you to everyone who helped out with Grace’s Fine Art & Craft Festival last weekend! Look to the December newsletter for a detailed recap regarding the festival.

Pastor Bondow Farewell—Pastor Bondow has accepted his call to serve as pastor at Living Savior in Littleton, CO, and Grace is thanking him and his family for being a part of Grace for the past six years. A farewell gathering has been set for Sunday, Nov. 24, 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. in the Grace Center Great Hall. A light luncheon will be served, so if you plan on attending, please let Events Director Veronica Brewer know—email her at or call the church office at 414-271-3006—an estimated head count would be much appreciated by those preparing food and drinks.

Advent By Candlelight—Advent by Candlelight (ABC) is set for Saturday, Dec. 7, 3-5:15 p.m., in the Grace Center Great Hall. This annual event allows women to focus their hearts on Christ during the busy Advent season while sharing in fellowship with each other.

Volunteer Hostesses are needed: Hostesses decorate their tables and provide a friendly atmosphere for their guests. Hostesses have the opportunity to co-host with a friend, invite their own guests or use this as a chance to make new ones! There are still up to ten spots available for hosting! Individuals interested in hosting can also call the church office 414-271-3006 or email ABC Coordinator, Sarah Egelseer, at Questions, call Sarah at 920-285-8775.

Angel Tree—One of Grace members’ favorite Christmas traditions, the Angel Tree, is back! After worship, head to the Parish Center and choose one of the tags hanging on the tree. Each tag represents a child in foster care and their Christmas gift wish list. These children may not receive any other gifts this year, so please consider choosing a child (or two!). Please add your name to the sign-up sheets on the nearby table, and bring unwrapped gifts no later than Monday, Dec. 2. Gifts can be dropped off at the church office during the week, or Grace Place Coffee on Sunday mornings. Questions, contact Veronica Brewer at 414-271-3006 or email

Tech Volunteers Needed—Grace is actively recruiting tech volunteers to fulfill several audio, visual, and general technology tasks that take place on a weekly basis. You don’t need to be a tech guru to be able to help—if you can follow a few simple directions and know how to operate a mouse, you can help! Grace is specifically looking for help uploading videos of sermons and Bible classes to YouTube and the Grace website, assistance with set up, take down, and transport of audio/visual equipment, and general assistance with the Most Certainly True podcast. If you are interested in offering a hand, or learning more, contact Pastor Hackmann at, Communications Coordinator Amanda Schumacher at, or call the church office at 414-271-3006.

Please note that these are from the email addresses and which are not affiliated with Pastor Huebner in any way. These emails are a scam, and should be disregarded immediately. Going forward, if you come across an email claiming to be from one of the Grace pastors or Grace staff, please double-check the email address. If the address does not end in, is not sent via our MailChimp account, or is in regards to requesting cash, gift cards, or unusual favors, please disregard the email and/or notify the church office. To contact us, call 414-271-3006 or email Carolyn at or Amanda at to alert us. Thank you to everyone who made us aware of this situation, we greatly appreciate it!
