Poinsettias Available to Order—There is still time to order red poinsettias to beautify the chancel for Christmas. Please use one of the envelopes provided on the Parish Center counter and deposit it in the box. The costs are $17 (single, 5-7 blooms) or $26 (double, 10-14 blooms). The deadline for white poinsettia orders has passed, orders for red poinsettias need to be in no later than Friday, Dec. 6. Poinsettias purchased can be taken home after morning worship on Christmas Day. Please make checks payable to Grace.

Lutheran Chorale Christmas Concert—The Lutheran Chorale of Milwaukee, under the direction of Levi Nagel and whose members include Grace members Kevin Becker, Jeannine Hirschmann, Adam Nass, and Carmen and Jon Rupprecht, presents “Comfort and Joy,” today, Dec. 1, at 2 and 4:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church (1052 White Rock Ave., Waukesha). This year’s concert features string and woodwind ensembles. An organ prelude, played by Lynn Kozlowski, begins 20 minutes prior to each concert. More information available at lutheranchorale.org.
Christmas Decorating—Ever wonder how Grace gets to look so pretty at Christmas time? Do you wonder how the trees get put up? Are you really good at making sure strings of lights are all connected? First Fridays Christmas Concert—Tim Rebers, tenor and Maggie Rebers, piano, present “Mystery and Celebration,” a concert of Christmas music on Friday, Dec. 6, at 5 p.m. in the sanctuary. Featuring favorite jazz standards and beautiful new arrangements of sacred carols, the concert is open to the public and all ages are welcome to attend! Concert is free; donations gratefully accepted. Concerts last about an hour, with light refreshments served afterwards in the narthex.
Christmas Caroling—On Sunday, Dec. 8, starting at noon, walk the streets of the Historic Third Ward and share the joy of Christmas by singing carols and inviting the community to holiday worship. Family Christmas Eve Service Rehearsals—This beloved tradition brings children and adults of all ages together to share God’s message of love through Scripture readings and music. PrimeTimers Christmas Party—This annual party is set for Saturday, Dec. 21, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Grace Center classroom. There will be a catered Christmas meal and music played by our own Paul Sherwood on the piano. The cost is $10 each, to offset the cost of food. Homebound for the Holidays—As we celebrate Christ’s coming with family and friends, let’s remember those who are homebound and wish they could worship along with us.
