Call Meeting—The next call meeting for calling a fourth pastor is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 14 at 11:45 a.m. in the sanctuary.
Call Received—Pastor Daniel Bondow received a call to serve at Apostles Lutheran Church in San Jose, CA. Please keep both Grace and Pastor Bondow in your prayers as he deliberates his calls.
Weddings at Grace—Grace members Alisha Maciejewski and Phillip Anschutz were united in marriage on Saturday, Sept. 29. Grace members Angela Stern and Jacob Sheahan were united in marriage on Saturday, Oct. 6. Both services took place at Grace. May God bless these couples in their new lives together.
Decorators & Handy Persons Wanted—Do you have an eye for design and love of special events? Do you enjoy painting or wood-working? Events Director Renee Hundley is looking for individuals to assist with a few fun projects in the events department and around Grace Center. Assist with Campus Ministry—College students are back in class and Grace’s campus ministry is in full swing at MSOE and (new this year) Marquette. Your help is needed! Rides to church are needed for Marquette students on Sunday mornings as well as in forming a Campus Ministry group that would coordinate meals, events, and care-packages for students. Moms Group has resumed! Join fellow moms and their children on select Friday mornings in October at 9 a.m. While children can enjoy each other’s company, moms well get to dive into the Word of God. For details, contact Anna Bondow at firstname.lastname@example.org.
DIY Pumpkin Carving—Bring the whole family down to the Grace Center on Friday, Oct. 12 at 5:30 p.m. for a do-it-yourself pumpkin carving Happy Hobby Hour! This perfect autumn event is fun for all ages. Attendees will have the opportunity to carve or paint a pumpkin. Cost is $5 per person, and includes pumpkin, supplies, appetizers, and beverage ticket. Teen Movie Night—Grace is hosting a Teen Movie Night on Saturday, Oct. 20 from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. in the Heritage Room. Pizza, popcorn, and drinks will be provided; teens can also bring their own snacks to share. The movie will be chosen from a pool of movies the night of. Gracemade—Gracemade meets monthly, 8 a.m.-noon on the third Saturday in the church basement. Anyone and any experience level is welcome to join. Check out their upcoming projects:

Volunteers for Night to Shine—Members of Grace! We are hosting Night To Shine on Friday, Feb. 8, 5:30 p.m.-9 p.m. in the Grace Center. Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night event sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation for individuals with special needs ages 14 and older. We are seeking volunteers for the many different areas that we need to make this all come together. There will be sign up sheets by the Parish Center bulletin board (next to the nursery) as well as an online sign-up form. Brief descriptions of responsibilities for each area are included on the sign-up sheets, so pick whatever suits you best.
