Join us to see what God allowed Zechariah to see. God used Zechariah to point the eyes of his people - and our eyes as well – to see the forgiving love that he has for this people. In a study of the book of Zechariah, we can see and we can grow in our appreciation of the lengths to which our God would go to be our Savior. Allow your eyes to be opened with ours to “Picture the Passion.” Look for more studies in this series, find a different series or join us in one of our archived worship services - all here on our YouTube channel.

Paul Gerhardt endured struggles and challenges beyond what most of us can imagine. Yet not only did he sing, but he wrote for others to sing songs of confident hope! How? Why? Because the message of Christ's love for him and the promises of Scripture were near and dear to him and they spoke (yes, even sang!) to his heart and to his life. They gave him the confidence to trust in God and to rejoice even in the darkest times. And we can do the same. So with Gerhardt and with each other, we can "Sing Songs of Confident Hope!"

Could your life use more joy? With so much hardship, suffering and pain in the world, isn’t it nice when pure joy comes? There’s plenty to mourn about. This world has more than enough tears. But, in Jesus we can rejoice no matter what. At the feet of the Apostle Paul and with the power of the Holy Spirit,  we can gain a heavenly perspective that allows us to and motivates us to “Rejoice in the Lord Always!”

We are looking deeply at those Lukan sections that are not read in our weekend worship this church year. This week focuses again on John the Baptist and the genealogy of Luke 3. The Holy Spirit used Luke to write this Gospel (and Volume 2: Acts) as an orderly account of God’s good news to us. Rest assured of this, dear friend: Jesus is amazingly yours.
