First Fridays presents Cream City Percussion,  a new percussion quartet based in Milwaukee.  Recently founded, they have experienced a warm reception into the chamber music community with performances with Chant Clare Chamber Choir as well as at PercussionFEST, hosted by Carroll University. Advocates for music education, the members of Cream City Percussion have taught with ensembles around the state, including many marching bands and various concert ensembles.  Jordan Kamps, a Marimba One Orchestral Artist, is currently a visiting lecturer at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Quinten Petersen is the Director of Bands at Wisconsin Lutheran High School in Milwaukee. Danny Hafenstein recently completed his degree in instrumental music education and composition. The fourth member of the group, Courtney Petersen, will have a substitute for this performance.  

Concerts are held in the church sancutary, are free and last about an hour. They are open to the public, so spread the word and bring your friends!
