This is ... Most Certainly True!
Sermon on Hebrews 11:1-3, 8-16 preached at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church by Pastor James Huebner.
Almighty and everlasting God, you are always more ready to hear than we to pray, and to give more than we either desire or deserve. Pour upon us the abundance of your mercy, forgiving us those things of which our conscience is afraid, and giving us those good things for which we are not worthy to ask, except through the merits and mediation of your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
Sermon on Colossians 3:1-11 preached at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church by Pastor Daniel Bondow.
O Lord, grant us wisdom to recognize the treasures you have stored up for us in heaven that we may never despair but always rejoice and be thankful for the riches of your grace; through Jesus Christ, your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
Different Gospel writer, but same gospel message. Listen in for discussion of a new Bible, some audio Bibles and the Gospel of John. This Gospel has a unique perspective of the life of Jesus (different from the "Synoptic Gospels" of Matthew, Mark, and Luke). He offers his readers (Jews and Gentiles = you!) many memorable statements and unique stories that showcase Christ's saving love and work in the face of opposition and rejection. John helps us know that his words are God's words and are "written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name" (see John 20).

Find out what would happen if God's first creation were cats and what great class you should take next fall. And, just how grossly sinful were the patriarchs of Israel? No worse than we are, which is why we give such thanks for the theme of God's grace in this book.
Sermon on James 4 preached at Grace Lutheran Church by Rev. Aaron Strong.
In this, somewhat of a renegade, episode, find out what happens when a pastor and two moms try to podcast after a full day of work and kids. Listen to hear who gives Pastor permission to “click and print” old sermons in order to take a vacation, how common it is to drive around with a Bible on top of your car, and what happens when Becky tries to save a deteriorating conversation by discussing a movie she doesn’t even remember. Will we ever find out what EHV even means? A train wreck of thoughts that end up at Christ, the best place to be.
