Sermon on John 2:1-11 preached at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church by Pastor James Huebner. The glory of Christ strengthens believers. At the beginning of his ministry Jesus performed amazing miracles to validate his claim to be the Son of God. His followers saw his glory and believed in him. Here, Jesus performed a miracle at a wedding to strengthen his disciples' faith. We still see Jesus’ glory, not only in his power over nature, but especially in his power to forgive our sins and strengthen our faith.

Pastor Huebner returns as special guest to visit the book of 1 Samuel for our Bible reading challenge. In the process, he remembers another challenge - how to land a free Big Mac when the sandwich was first introduced...and how fast can you say the books of the Bible? Don't let witchcraft, Dagon or hemorrhoids scare you away from reading 1 Samuel or listening to this podcast. That's just some of the divine humor God put into this book.

Listen in to catch the cyclical nature of this period in Bible history and how to learn from bad heroes.

A special thank you to Psallos for permission to use "Ex Paradiso" as well as the many moms that lent their voices. Merry Christmas to all!
