Regular Monday night worship will still take place on Dec. 30.

Call Extended—On Dec. 8, Grace extended a divine call to Rev. Mark D. Gabb to serve as an associate pastor here at Grace. Pastor Gabb currently serves St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Beverly Hills, FL. Please keep Pastor Gabb and his family in your prayers, along with Grace, as he deliberates his two calls.

Save the Date: Open Forum & Congregational Meeting—Save the date for Sunday, Jan. 26, for the next open forum and congregational meeting. Join council president Josh Schermerhorn and council members at either 9 or 10:15 a.m. in the Great Hall of the Grace Center to hear about what’s next at Grace. Following the open fora, a congregational meeting will start at 11:45 a.m. for a vote on the 2020 budget. Light refreshments will be provided. Please note that there is no Sunday morning Bible class this day. Offering Envelopes for 2020—Grace members’ 2020 offering envelopes are available in the Parish Center lobby. Those already enrolled in electronic giving are not assigned envelopes, but if you would still like a box of them, please contact the church office or indicate this on the clipboard near the envelopes.

Flower Chart for 2020—Do you have a special anniversary, birthday, or celebration coming up? Consider giving altar flowers at Grace to celebrate! Lots of spots for 2020 are still available! Grace Book Club 2019 Titles Announced—Is one of your New Year’s resolutions to read more? Consider joining Grace’s Book Club! The club meets the third Wednesday of every month in Grace Place Coffee. Grace Place Coffee Closed for the Holidays—Grace Place Coffee will be closed Dec. 28-Jan. 1, to allow volunteers and coffee shop staff the ability to spend time with their families over the holidays. Please plan accordingly. Thank you!

Tech Volunteers Needed—Grace is seeking tech volunteers to fulfill several audio, visual, and general technology tasks that take place weekly. Specific needs include uploading videos of sermons and Bible classes to YouTube and the Grace website, assistance with set up, take down, and transport of audio/visual equipment, and general assistance with the Most Certainly True podcast. Grace Center Hosts Wanted—Grace is seeking friendly individuals to greet members and guests who visit the Grace Center Sunday mornings! Tasks may include replenishing treats for Bible class, monitoring the parking lot, and assisting the coffee shop barista with closing duties. Free coffee drink of choice from Grace Place during your shift! Looking specifically for help 7-8:45 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.-noon. Annual Grace Camp-Out—The reservation window is open for next summer’s annual camp out at Long Lake Campground in the northern unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest, just northeast of Kewaskum (about an hour drive from the zoo). Make reservations online at wisconsin.goingtocamp.com or call 888-947-2757. Reserve any evenings July 23-25, 2020 with departure on Sunday, July 26—whatever fits your schedule (and camping tolerance level)! Ask for a site in the upper 900s loop (sites 922-967). If you can’t get one in the upper, go for the lower 900s nearby. Details on joint devotions, church service, etc. will be sent to you in July.
