Hackmann Installation: Save the Date for Sunday, May 19—
Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 19, the day we welcome Pastor Brian Hackmann and his family to Grace! The evening will begin with an installation service for Pastor Hackmann at 5 p.m. in the sanctuary. Following the service, everyone is invited to join for food, fun, and fellowship in the Great Hall, beginning at 6 p.m. Since Pastor Hackmann is a huge Brewers fan, the event will be Brewer and Milwaukee-themed: brats and burgers and beer will be served, and who knows who else might show up to join us! Christian Yelich? The racing sausages? Bernie the Brewer himself? You’ll just have to come and find out for yourself!

RSVP by Wednesday, May 8, for the dinner HERE or call the church office at 414-271-3006.

After eating, we will present the Hackmann family with a table of gifts, courtesy of Grace leadership, members, and staff. Our events staff has put together a fun, “Welcome to Milwaukee Hackmann Family” registry!, which features several Milwaukee-themed items, and gifts ranging from $5-$250, so there is plenty of variety for every budget.

View the registry here:

You can also donate food and pantry items for their new home, offer a check to off-set the cost of the reception, or gift your time to set up and/or take down the event. Monetary gifts can be given electronically (if you already have that set up), or you may place a check in an envelope in the offering plate (make the check out to Grace Lutheran Church, and place “Hackmann Installation” in the memo section). If you have questions or want a list of pantry items, contact Events Director Veronica Brewer at vbrewer@gracedowntown.org or call the church office.
