Seminary Chorus Sacred Concert
The Wisconsin Seminary Chorus, under the direction of Prof. James Tiefel, Minister of Music at Grace, presents a concert this Wednesday, Mar. 21, at 7:00 p.m., in lieu of the Lenten worship service. This concert is an annual tradition at Grace. The last Lenten supper will be served prior to the concert, 5:45-6:15 p.m. in the Grace Center Great Hall.

Grace in the Ward
Mark your calendars: Grace in the Ward kicks off the week after Easter on Sunday, Apr. 8, 10:30 a.m. in the Broadway Theatre Center (158 N. Broadway, Milwaukee). Grace members are strongly encouraged to come check it out!

Job Opening at Grace
Grace is seeking candidates for the new position of Volunteer Coordinator. This part-time position will work with members to identify skills and interests that can be used to support Grace’s ministry work and strategic goals. If you are a positive, creative person who loves meeting and working with people, this is a great opportunity! Candidate must be a Grace member in good standing. 10-15 hours per week; flexible schedule. Easter Flowers
Help adorn the altar for Easter with beautiful spring flowers! Pick up an envelope from the Parish Center counter and deposit it in the box with your payment. Selections and prices are listed on the envelopes. Please make checks payable to Grace Lutheran Church. Orders must be in today.

Clean up the Church for Easter
All Grace members are invited to help spruce up the church on Saturday, Mar. 24, from 9:30-11 a.m. Let’s get the church prepared for Easter! Lend a hand with general cleaning, polishing trim and woodwork, changing light bulbs, etc. If you can help, sign up in the Parish Center or Grace Center or email Kevin Becker, kbecker@gracedowntown.org. Arrive at the church entryway and work for as long as fits your schedule.

Easter Outreach at St. John’s on the Hillside
St. John’s will be hosting an Easter Carnival at the Hillside Terrace Family Resource Center (1452 N. 7th St.) on Saturday, Mar. 24, noon to 2 pm. Volunteers are needed to help run games. If you are interested in helping with this event, please contact Pastor Strong at astrong@gracedowntown.org.

Easter Breakfast
Join Grace on Easter Sunday, Apr. 1, for a delicious breakfast in the Great Hall from 7:15-10:45 a.m. Volunteers are needed to setup, serve and clean-up. Grace members are also asked to bring food items, such as hard boiled or deviled eggs, ham, cheese, fruit, and bakery. Sign-up sheets are in the Grace Center, or email events@gracedowntown.org.

First Fridays: Three Violin Sonatas
Join Lydia Metzger (violin) and Grace member Sarah Henrich (piano), as they perform three violin sonatas by Mozart, Schumann, and Copland. Concert is Friday, Apr. 6 at 5 p.m.; light refreshments will follow.

Happy Hobby Hour: Container Gardening
Get ready to flex those green thumbs! Join Grace member Sara Dostal on Friday, Apr. 13, at 5:30 p.m. for a workshop on the art of container gardening. Cost is $5, and includes appetizers, beverage ticket and raffle. Contact Veronica Brewer at vbrewer@gracedowntown.org to RSVP today!

Blood Drive at Grace
Thank You! We at Grace met 122% of our goal during last Sunday’s blood drive. Thanks to 35 donors, 117 lives were impacted by their efforts! Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, or helped make the drive a success!

Youth Rally 2018
On June 26-29, WELS will hold its national Youth Rally at Bowling Green State University. This provides teens with wonderful opportunities to connect, learn, and worship with other teens from across the nation! Cost will be covered by Grace Church. Lost and Found
It’s almost spring, and with the church cleaning coming up, Grace is also cleaning up its lost and found! Please check the lost and found (located in the coat room at the back of church) for any lost gloves, scarves, or other items you or your child may have left behind. Any unclaimed items will be discarded by Easter.

WLC Choir Concert
The Wisconsin Lutheran Choir presents its Spring Tour Home Concert on Friday, Mar. 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the Center for Arts and Performance (8815 W. Wisconsin Ave,

The Point of Grace
Head to Marquette Hall, Room 300 (1217 W. Wisconsin Ave.) on Tuesday, Mar. 27 for a Bible study on what to do when you don’t have a nearby church of your affiliation to attend. Led by Pastor Tom Bauer, the discussion will focus whether one should participate, what we as Lutherans believe, and what to do when visiting churches of other denominations. The study begins at 7 p.m.; free food is provided!

WLHS Spring Band Concert
Please join WLHS for an evening of beautiful music on Thursday, Apr. 12, at 7 p.m. in the WLHS auditorium as the concert band presents their spring concert. Members of the Jr. Viking Band will also perform with the high school band. Admission is free and seating is general admission.

WLHS Creation Museum & Ark Encounter

Gary’s Gallop
Wisconsin Lutheran College will host the 15th Annual Gary’s Gallop 5k run/2-mile walk presented by Elite Sport & Spine on Saturday, Apr. 14 at WLC’s outdoor Athletic Complex (1401 N. Swan Blvd, Wauwatosa). Advance registration is $25.
