Our conference room in the Grace Center will function as a classroom and a meeting room. Audio/Visual presentations will be necessary. Currently Grace owns one portable video projector and one projection screen which would be transported between the church basement and the Grace Center conference room as needed. A mounted video projector and screen in the conference room would make presentations much more convenient and provide better quality. With this system, live sermons and music during worship could be viewed in the conference room. Projection equipment for the coffee lounge and fellowship hall is included in the budget, but the conference room projection equipment is not.

Musical programs in the fellowship hall and coffee lounge will include piano and other instrument sounds. This synthesizer is portable enough to transport between the two rooms, and powerful enough to provide the sounds necessary in each.

A network security device/switch capable of protecting the internal church network from outside intruders, while providing antivirus, antispyware, and content filtering for the internal network. Also allows us to segment the public Internet access for the Coffee Lounge off from the rest of the church network. Also provides capability to connect to network servers remotely over a secure connection. Cost includes the first year of support and security services.

Espresso machines range from $50 for home use to $8,000 - $10,000 for commercial use. This machine is one of the lowest-priced, highest quality options in the “super-automatic” line. Super-automatic is necessary due to ease of training and operation for the many volunteers helping with the coffee lounge, and will allow us to do espresso, latte, and cappuccino drinks, in addition to regular coffees.

An installed sound system in the room would enhance audio/visual presentations like Powerpoint and DVD’s for teaching and meetings, and would also allow more technical and convenient music planning for worship. With this system, live sermons and music during worship in the church building could be viewed in the conference room. Audio systems for the coffee lounge and fellowship hall are included in the budget, but the conference room audio system is not.

We will be moving our 6 current phones in the current office area and plugging into the office area of the new building. But we are adding space and need 8 additional phones in the new building. The building budget only allows for 4 at this time. The purchase of another 4 phones will enable office staff and church volunteers to function more efficiently.

The coffee lounge and office area are both beyond the lobby. Those waiting to meet with friends or Grace staff will sit in the lobby area.

Pulling Data and Voice Wire Cost: $2,208 (ALREADY CONTRIBUTED!)
Infinity Telecomm is working with us to install the wiring and jacks for a computer network. They are willing to allow our Grace Technology Team, made up of Grace member volunteers, to pull hundreds and hundreds of feet of wire to save costs. The Technology Team has already indicated their willingness to help with this.

Security System for the Church Building Cost: $1,650 (ALREADY CONTRIBUTED!)
The Grace Center will include a theft-deterrent alarm and tracking system of electronic access doors, motion detectors, intercoms, and cameras. We will have many more volunteers accessing the building at many hours, some new access points (such as the parking structure) cannot be visually monitored without electronic equipment, and we will open our doors to many more people from the public and the community, especially in the coffee lounge. We have met with Sentra Protective Systems, Inc. to design a system that works for us.
