Of great concern is our ability to pay the mortgage for the Grace Center and also continue our generous support of the day-to-day operating expenses in a growing ministry and mission at Grace. The committee has succeeded in this endeavor. Part of the success is the committee's plan to “underfurnish” certain rooms and features of the Grace Center. In other words, upon the completion of the Grace Center it will function in many ways, but in some other ways we must wait until we can afford the equipment needed. As soon as we can afford and install the equipment, we can engage in improved ministry and mission to more people, as well as better functionality and efficiency as an organization. It's that simple, really. Therefore, we are publishing this wish list for the Grace Center. Every item on this wish list has been carefully selected by the building committee and its subcommittees after thorough research, consultation, and comparison shopping. If you think some of the prices are high, remember also that these are commercial grade items meant for the rigors of high use by multiple people over a longer period of time than your typical consumer grade version. Some of the items also come with installation and support equipment, so it’s not the same price as you’d see on the shelf at Sam's Club. A few items on the wish list may very well be purchased by the building fund, but if people like you wish to fund these items, it will allow us more funding flexibility at a later time.
