Marriage Workshop: From Me to We to One
Wednesday, Sept. 25, 6-8 p.m.
Grace Center Great Hall
Have you ever considered participating in a love triathlon?
Swim. Bike. Run. In triathlon, each part of the race dictates the terrain, but in real life the terrain often dictates which is the best way to race or travel. If you are crossing a lake, swimming works much better than cycling or running. In a similar way, when we cross “the different terrain” of the person we wish to love, we need to consider the best way to convey our love to our spouse. God created people with a body and we love them by meeting their physical needs. He also gave them a mind and we show love for that part of who they are. Most importantly, God gives people a soul and we nourish the souls of our wife or husband with God’s Word.
Body. Mind. Spirit. Join us Wednesday, Sept. 25, as we consider how to love the whole spouse God gave you. From 6 to 6:30 p.m., there will be food (light supper), fellowship and activities. Our topic and discussion will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Childcare and snacks will be provided. Please sign-up by contacting Carolyn at the church office – firstname.lastname@example.org, 414-271-3006.
Arrival at Great Hall of Grace Center (check-in kids with babysitters in Grace Classroom, if applicable to you), mingle with other couples and enjoy door prizes
