PRAYER: God, when I think I can manipulate you or others with a power play, and when I do so, please catch me when I fall, and restore my friendships when I trample on the good will of others. Give me a heart that boasts in you, your love, and your blessings in my life. Keep me humble so that my perspective of you and others does not prevent me from meaningful relationships. And let my appreciation for all that you do in my life be evident in my living. Amen
