Just a Little
Little things matter.
God often entrusts us with a little - to see what we’d do with a lot. Take care of the little things in your life today. “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much” - Jesus (Luke 16:10).
God can’t wait to give you bigger things.
PRAYER: I think too big sometimes, God. I think of glamour and glory that I can gain if only I’d be entrusted with big things, and I covet them … all the while being unfaithful with the little things you’ve given me. Forgive me for the sake of Jesus, and give me yet one more chance to notice those little things, to invest in them, and to be faithful. If you choose to give me bigger things, then apply my practice with the little things to those which are bigger, so that I give honor to your saving name and help others in Christian love. Amen.
