Teen Ministry

Grace’s teen ministry helps keep teens connected in an important relationship with God as they grow and mature in life and faith. Our Minister of Discipleship, Drew Carter, shares Bible truths with teens and helps connect them in meaningful relationships with their peers at Grace so that we can all walk with God together.

Teen Bible Class happens during the Bible Class hour, 9 a.m., on Sundays during the school year down in the Trinity Room. Teen Bible Class will also have scheduled events during the 2019-2020 school year. Expect an announcement about an events calendar to be posted sometime this summer. These events will range from fellowship time to service opportunities.

Below is a link to the Teen Events Calendar for 19/20. It may be subject to change but should be finalized by the end of the summer.

Devotional Materials:

We would like to connect parents and teens to materials that can benefit their walk in faith together. One great resource is the WELS Transformed Devotions. These are weekly teen devotions that can be found HERE on the WELS website or that can be subscribed to via email.

If you have a devotional resource that works well with you and your teen, we would like to know about it! Please email Drew Carter at dcarter@gracedowntown.org with the name of the resource and why you enjoy it so much. It may be included in a future compilation of resources on this page.

We also have resources below that relate to certain topics that may come up with your teens. These conversation guides look to the Bible to see what God has to say about these topics and include links to additional resources that will help explain or expand your discussions on these topics!
